Making the City More Transparent

Most complaints from residents are made because of a perceived lack of transparency from the city. I don’t think the city intentionally hides information from residents, but I do think they should be more proactive at keeping residents informed. There are many ways to do this including an increased presence on social media, email alerts/newsletters, or listing major projects and new developments on the city's website.

Availability and Accountability

I also believe it’s important for members of the city council to be available to residents. If elected, I will always be open to community input and will make myself available through email, text, or phone calls. This website will serve as a place to explain votes and positions.
